Talking LT Tire Prices!!!

Hi all;

Just to let everyone know the pricing of the Metzler tires for the :LT from Moto-International in Montreal:

Front: 120/70 B17 m/c 58V
Rear: 160/70 B17 m/c 79v.

Before rebate: $553.95 Can
After rebate: $337.95 Can

I little more then I paid two years ago, but still a good price.

Ron,

The rear was: 180.00 Can, will change this fall, old tire still has around 4 to 5000 kl left.
Front was: 128.00, and installed by a local guy who works on BMW's for 30.00 Can

Can't beat the price!!

Re: LT Tire Prices!!!

That is an excellent price considering Motorcycle Superstore is selling them at $127.99 for the front and the rear for $186.99 USD. The dealers here in Ottawa offer the rear installed usually at $325 installed plus tax! Only problem is finding someone who will intall them.

Doug;

Buy them in Montreal and install them at Premier Cycle in OTTAWA.
Phone them to see what the cost would be: 613-226-4269

I got front for 85 and Rear for 105 - if I take the wheels in, they are changed and balanced for 5.00 each, if I ride the bike in, it costs 11.00 per wheel.

I thought we got ripped off on pricing, but you guys are paying some high prices on tyres.

85GBP = $134cdn
105GBP = $166cdn

not a whole lot of a difference.

I did put this in for Canadian prices, I would think ordering the tires from the UK would be a little costly for shipping!!!
