Insurance on 2 bikes...?

Anybody in Ontario with more than one bike on the road? Herr(ey) Kramer?
Just wondering if you pay full price on both, even though you can only ride one at a time, or if insurance gives a break for such scenarios.

2003 R1200CL Silver
1999 Honda Valkyrie Interstate poor man's six-banger
2008 Yamaha Venture - Sold after 6 months; I already miss the casette deck
2003 LT - Gone to be mated with a sidecar
1999 LT - Gone but not forgotten; my first Beemer

My LT is about $900, my R75 is about $500 and Es's MP3 is about $500

Re: Insurance on 2 bikes...?

I pay about $700 for my RT and around $400 for the R100 with nothing but the privilege of riding coverage. Unfortunately my wife has her mc license and is listed as a secondary driver, but has not driven in 28 years.

Re: Insurance on 2 bikes...?

I pay about $750 each for my 10 year old Buell S3T and for my 2003 LT. The fact that I can only ride one of them at a time apparently has no bearing on my liability costs. Go figure!

2003 LTE ( Big Silver Cow)
2000 Buell S3T (Little Black Beauty)
198? Yamaha 650 (Sold )
1974 Honda CB 750 (wish I still had it!)
1972 Honda CB350 (Crashed)
197? Honda 50 Mini Bike (Long Gone)

Re: Insurance on 2 bikes...?

Thanks guys & thanks for the jingle Garry.
Figured as much.
I'll just have to find my gonads and put my foot down.
The dillema: sold my LT (baaaad move, in retrospect).
With the whole winter ahead of me for a leisurly shopping time, SHE insisted we get another bike - the Venture. The "cute" friggin' dash and the plush back bench.
Problem is, I just ain't bonding with this bike. Maybe it's all in my head, but, coming off an LT, I find this beast screechy, whiny, sluggish, and so on.
The "she" likes it though. So much so that she suggested I get a second bike while keeping this one for longer trips.
I suppose I should be happy, as this is a full reversal of her bike-thoughts from 20 years ago. (Ya wanna waste money on WHAT????).
The Yammie looks great, and the cassette-deck is state of the art ( ) but just not for me.
Thinking about trying a Valkyrie for a bit, but they are few and far between...
