Ontario / Canada Maps

I'm hoping someone here can help me out. My 2003 LTE came with a Garmin but it doesn't appear to have any detailed Canadin roadmaps installed. The P.O. has some small memory cards with various states and cities loaded but nothing for Ontario.
I did not get a CD with the bike , so I'm not sure if I can even download a map online.
Does anyone have a memory card with Ontario on it that I could copy or walk me through how I can update the device?
I can see only major roadways, not down to side street level currently.
If someone has the capablilty to download maps, I could send the card to you if you would be willing to update it for me.
Thanks All.

2000 Buell S3T (Little Black Beauty)

1974 Honda CB 750 (wish I still had it!)
1972 Honda CB350 (Crashed)
197? Honda 50 Mini Bike (Long Gone)

What Garmin was it? 2610? 27?? All garmin maps are specific to the serial number of the GPS so someone elses maps won't work. You may be able to register your GPS with garmin and buy the lifetime maps for about $120 I have this service for both mine and my wifes GPS. Single update is about $80 so lifetime is a better buy, updated 3 times a year. Come to the tech day and we can discuss it.

Re: Ontario / Canada Maps

you need the Mapsource CD, this downloads all the north american maps onto your computer hard drive and then you select the maps you want to load onto your GPS card from the computer hard drive. The GPS card holds a fairly small amount of data so you won't get all the detail.

Contact Garmin at their tole free number and explain your situation, they'll advise you.

I had all of North America on a 2meg card for my 2610. lots of space. My 2820 holds only 1/2 that amount, no memory card. I have the software loaded on my netbook that I take with me, so I can load the maps I need when I need them.
