Good Weather

Now that we have good weather and everyone is riding I guess no one has anything to say on this thread.

Re: Good Weather

To be honest, down here in Louisiana I hardly ever notice anything but good weather. Which is one of the main reason I moved down here from Pittsburgh, PA. 3 years ago.

Re: Good Weather

Not too much riding, lately, Hey Ailsa Craig is not that far from Caledon. Maybe I'll plug it into my GPS and hop over there sometime.

Re: Good Weather

We are getting snow here today. I think that my bike will stay in the garage.

Re: Good Weather

It is starting to get real nice here in West Kelowna! We had a car show nearby on Sunday and it was a great day and should be staying warmer till the weekend. Have been riding just about every day and even some cool evenings.
Hope you guys in Alberta start seeing some decent weather soon. This spring has been very slow in coming and is unusual for our area.
As this is a popular summer vacation spot, we see lots of idiot drivers out there who fail to yield to motorcycles and constantly cut in front of you and just keep driving like they did nothing wrong. I am thankful for a loud horn and I like to use it when required.
Have a great summer and drive safe!!!

Re: Good Weather

The problem on the coast is that when it gets into the upper 70's or higher inland about 30 miles or so, the clear sunny weather here turns into thick fog. The weird part is that the fog sticks around, even if the wind is at 20mph or higher,

Re: Good Weather

I guess good weather is a subjective thing. For me, good riding weather is anything below 70F. Above that, I can adapt, but I'm not too damned happy about it.
