Pulled into the garage, not paying too much attention, pressed the switch for the centre stand to come down, waiting waiting waiting when I realized that I was pressing down the starter button. No apparent damage even though the bike was still running. Must pay more attention to what button I am pressing!!
Anyone ever do this!!!

Re: Whoa!!

Soon after I got my R1200RT, I was driving down the highway thought I would cycle through the information on the computer. I am pressing repeatedly on the button and nothing is happening. I look down and see that I am pressing the starter button which located right next to the BC button. I assume the starter button is disengaged once the engine is running, thank you BMW for thinking about people like us.
