I'm going for three days, Tuesday to Thursday.

This will be my first time.
I was amazed to find lodging. Either they have a minimum stay, or are away till spring with no way to book.

I expect to be there. I suspect that attendance will be down over previous years.

I prefer to camp so I can have a bit of quiet. I can only tolerate that noisy v-twin crowd for so long.

Great riding on surrounding roads.

I usually stay at the travelodge at the south end of town.
Clean, not too expensive. And you can book it through HQ even though they are closed now.

I found a B&B in Glens Falls that was a) answering the phone and b) only two night minumum stay. Scary...
Close enough at 9 miles, far enough from the noise so I don't have a cranky pillion after sleepless nights.
But...that's only my theory, having never attended before. For all I know it might be a case of "Duh! Next year, all week and in town!!" after seeing it.

I am travelling (slabbing) on Thursday, plan to be at Americade Friday, and return over Saturday/Sunday.
Have a reservation at a nice motel 20 min from Lake George in a town called Chestertown.

There is a Timmy's there but really really busy? Did you want me to take a look there tomorrow and see what i can find? I live about 5 minutes from there?

If I am not mistaken, the name of the restaurant is Jolly II. I haven't been there for years, but I checked and they are open on Sundays at 9 am.

Mediocre food bit, hey, the fellowship makes it.

I've arrived on a Monday and found lots of vacancies. I usually stay a few days. The weekend is when you'll find that availability is poor. The rates are highest during Americade.

Now only a week from Americade !!
Sounds like there may be a decent Canadian contingent.
My SO & I along with 3 other bikes are departing Fredericton on Sunday and planning to arrive Lake George Tuesday - stay until Thursday (getting out before it gets nuts!).
Through the various breakfasts and other things that were happening this spring in TO, has there been any advance arrangements to connect and go for a ride when there?
If so, and you have room for a few more Canucks to ride along, let me know.
