Is everyone Hibernating?

No activity here in a little while, is everyone Hibernating? What you doing to pass the time when you can't ride because of the snow?

Re: Is everyone Hibernating?

The weather is great, but there's a pile of gravel behind my bike and I can't move it without a lot of effort, so I'm waiting for the home improvement to wrap up. Because people in colder climes would harass me for such a lame excuse, I'm keeping quiet. Really, I didn't type this.

When a government takes over a peopleís economic life it becomes absolute, and when it has become absolute it destroys the arts, the minds, the liberties and the meaning of the people it governs.

I have the LT apart & doing some servicing & also adding some farkles. The major change is putting HyperPro springs on front & back, but it has been too cold even to work on that in the garage for the past month.

Re: Is everyone Hibernating?

I am, it is to cold to work on the bike. Looking for a new snowmobile but there is barely enough snow for the trails.

Only a couple of months to go.

Re: Is everyone Hibernating?

Just waiting until June when the trike conversion will be done, wondering about no lean ect.

The Lt gives a toot every time I walk by but no regrets so far.

Ar'ye back from Deutchland, Herr Kramer??
Going to minus 30, maybe -40 with windchill over the next couple of days here.
I know that's 'OK riding weather' for you, G.
Me...I look at the trickle-charger light every day...and dream. Or cry.
In Ottawa all week, so, just crying for a different reason this week. He-he-he...

Re: Is everyone Hibernating?

Whenever I'm in Ottawa, I only GET advised. Or 'told'.
Five days of talking heads is just tooooo much.

You know, retrospect is a great thing. The crappy summer we had, I now think of all the days I chose not to ride. Rain? Boo-hoo! Oh...12C?? That's too cold!
Next season, I'm taking your approach: if there's no snow on the road - ride! I hate to look back now and kick myself for not riding when I should have.
That is if the Brown Cow decides to actually start next spring.

Re: Is everyone Hibernating?

I'm off to Vegas this weekend. My bike is in storage and I will ride my butt off for three days in the sunshine.

Re: Is everyone Hibernating?

Hey, it's great here in Vegas! I rode day before yesterday NJN (no jacket necessary, chuckle). Will go out again tomorrow I reckon. Trike still gets lots of stares, nobody sees BMW trikes here, only HD and GW. All the best to all of you!
