Re: Dec Bike Show

Saturday for me as well... how about we meet at the BMW display? I will make a point to be there every hour on the hour from, say 11:00AM.

Sleep... what is that, something you eat?

Mugszy;

The trip went well, except for the delay at the US customs ( 25 cars before mine!!) and the traffic on the 401 in TO. Got the inspections done (federal & provincial) and everything went well. Looking at getting a few options ( armrests, maybe another helmet for me!!!).

Let me know how the show is ( and don't scare the BMW sales guys!!!) they are only towing the company line!!!).

Regards,
Bowdon

Oh there is lots to choose from the list of farcles, how about some passenger floor boards... Bmw chrome look and work best! I do not believe I saw a comm system on your bike but there are some good aftermarket units... Wait for the Montreal show in Feb which I will try to attend as well.

I had the MIC set that I bought at the Montreal show some time agao and was pleasantly surprised to see that they also made a BMW connection cord to their headsets... a lot less expensive than the J&M setup.

Mugszy;

When your at the TO show, check to see how much the StopNGo tire kits are here.
I might want to get one to carry "just in case".
Let me know the pricing.

Hello Bowdon,

Well, I looked but could not find your StopNGo. Did you not get the BMW repair kit with your bike?

There were some good deals on helmets and jackets, as expected, so I picked up a set as I thought I was due along with the PUG pants.

Nice to see the new GT and 1300 at the BMW booth but, as usual, I was more interested in the LT and talking to people thinking of getting one.

regards,

Mugz

Mugz;

On the StopNGo web site, they said they were going to be at the TO show Dec 12, 2008.

I guess I will wait till the Feb show in Montreal.

It seems there was deals on outfits. I am looking for rain pants for both myself and wife ( have one piece rainsuits) because we have Firstgear jackets so just pants would do for next season.
I will check Motointernational next week.
Regards,
Bowdon
