Anyone with a GS911 reader reasonably close to Calgary?

I'm having intermittent gas mileage issues with my K1200LT. I just returned from a 500 mile trip (each way), and started out getting ~50 MPG. About an hour in, it dropped to ~30 MPG, and continued like that till arrival at my destination. 5 days later, on the return trip, the same thing happened. Previous help on this site suggested it may be O2 Sensor, but I thought it would be helpful if I can take a reading while issues are happening (if that's possible). I'd be willing to ride out a couple of hours if needed. Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

Re: Anyone with a GS911 reader reasonably close to Calgary?

My youngest son is in Calgary working, but I'm not and neither is my GS911....

However if you can find one you can do the lambda (O2 sensor ) reading and watch it switch between lean and rich mixture once it reaches normal operating temp which should be set around 80C... At least that's where mine starts looping up and down on the graphs.
Described in the User Manual here.

Where does Sailor live.. Think he's got one but usually on the k-bikes forum.. In. Canada somewhere ( I know... big place...).
Maybe ask on k-bikes and IBMW forums also...

Chris, you have some good info there. I think Sailor is in Montreal (about 5 days ride from here). I'll wait to see if anyone else pops up before I head over there.
Thanks, Joe.

Just out of interest, it looks like there's 89 site members in Calgary!
If you go to Member List, then on RH side "Search Members"> Advanced> and put Calgary in the city, it gives the list. Then you can organise the list via the underlined tabs.... and start hassling them for a GS911!

Re: Anyone with a GS911 reader reasonably close to Calgary?

I never got much of a response on the 911, soooo, I threw the dice and ordered an O2 Sensor from Amazon. I installed it last week (changed spark plugs as well), and it appears to have solved the problem. I am showing near 40 MPG in the city and 50+ at highway speeds. Next test is to take it on a longer trip to see if it fails after a hour or so as it did previously.
Thanks for your input.
Joe
