Re: How to edit or remove classified ad

There are little icons under the add. Roll your pointer over them and it tells you what they do. You can also email me the link to the add and I can delete it for you.

Re: How to edit or remove classified ad

I also want to delete a sold item in the Classified Ads

I'll list my 6 user options icons available to me as a non moderator user;

Add to Watch List
Post Comment
Report Review
Receive/Disable Email Updates
Edit Ad
Relist it/Sold IT

Where should I look for the "Remove it" or "Delete It" icon?

You really need to READ this thread. Middle icon bottom row is edit. Click that and the delete box will pop up...

I am ready to learn, Ted. I have two lower icons, which is the "middle icon?

As you should see Ted, the left icon is my "Edit Ad" icon, and maybe you as a moderator get a delete box, but I get the listing of AD details to edit.

Look at jpegs of what I see!!!

Re: How to edit or remove classified ad

Rather than bother the moderators I've also tried to look for a way to delete an ad (it's already marked sold)

This thread and another one that points to the solution by linking back to this thread is the only thing I've been able to find.

It appears that this issue is still unresolved (I do not have a delete option)

Please delete my ad at your convenience.

Thank you

I've also looked and can't find a way to end / remove my ad. Please "remove Sargent World Sport Heated Seats for R1200RT" as the item is sold. Thanks!

The ad author cannot remove the ad - butt what you can do is:

go to your ad and look for the centered, small group of icons below your 'For Sale By' block. I think it's the lower, left icon that, when clicked, brings up an 'edit' page of your ad. You can then change the 'description' of your ad by adding the word "Sold" either at the front, or the tail end of your ad's description.

By doing this, you'll help the monetary totals keep in step with transaction totals (assuming you sold for your asking price - you might change that line in your editing also - just don't enter a *0*, as then it becomes an auction term).

Good luck.
