Edit function missing

As stated in the title; I cannot edit previous comments I've made.

BTW- The edit function is showing here but not elsewhere.

Those who say that it can't be done shouldn't interrupt those who are doing it.

Re: Edit function missing

Yes, as I mentioned, it's here, in here, but not anywhere else on my other threads. I even logged-out and logged-in but that didn't work.

Yes, I checked my other posts on several threads and all has the edit. Not sure what is going on with your account.

Re: Edit function missing

I haven't checked recently, but the edit function has a time limit. It used to disappear after a few hours (a day?), which makes sense to me.

Quick search for editing time limit turned up this:

https://www.bmwlt.com/forums/faq.php...l&titlesonly=0

Admins oughta be along in a bit - maybe can fix it.

I went back to some pretty old comments I've made and I can still edit them, but some others which are newer, can't. Weird.

Re: Edit function missing

There is a 1 day edit time limit on your postings.

N00bie RT Gawd - How old is the post you are able to edit? What section was it in?

Well the 1 day limit seems to have answered the question. One of the posts I edited is no longer editable. Problem solved!
