Re: Insurance..?

Used Formost up until last year. Wanted to add a 2007 VFR800 and they wanted and additional $1000.00. Had similar rate you are showing on my single K1200lt. Increased coverage to 100, 100, 300. Foremost covered my RV when I had it and had to file a claim. Paid off very quickly. However when I terminated coverage due to over lapping policy they were less than helpful to refund.

Went to Riders Insurance and got both bikes covered for $424.00 same coverage.

Re: Insurance..?

Foremost is part of Farmers. I had them from 2002 - 2009.

They were competitive when I just had the 2003 LT, but when I added a 2007 R1200S in 2009 my rates skyrocketed. Been with Progressive ever since.

Re: Insurance..?

I had them when I rode Harley's. They beat all quotes I found. When I woke up and bought a GTL they were way too high. I ended up with Dairyland. Better coverage and about $300 a year cheaper.

Re: Insurance..?

"BODILY INJURY PROTECTION 50,000/100,000" does not seem high enough, especially on a motorcycle.
Each of my daughters just had surgery to repair a torn ACL and each instance (outpatient) was over $24k, plus anesthesiology, plus a bunch of other charges, then long physical therapy.
I think I have either 100,000/300,000 or 300,000/500,000, I don't recall.
And to add insult to injury (pun intended ) now many doctors won't accept Obamacare.
