Everyone needs a second bike

I was thinking about adding to my stable. Something for just running around locally. What do y'all think of this one:

All lower 48 states plus Alaska on the K13GT in two weeks . . .

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

That'll bring a tear to Ron Miller's eye.

Ken can carry it on the back of his K1600 as a spare if he has a flat or break down.

I once saw a YSR50 attached to the back of a Wing. The Wing was wider than it was long . . .

Re: Everyone needs a second bike

Watch out! Spousal Unit and I took my 750/7 airhead (with café fairing) on a 2500 mile trip last summer when the LT was experiencing one it's periodic moody phases. We didn't get back on the LT for almost six months as we fell in love all over again the elegant simplicity of the boxer combined with the fact that we didn't have to "land it." We could just "park" it on a dime and back it up flatfooted. We took it down a lot questionable roads and a few driveways in the Shenandoah valley that I would have never negotiated with the LT. Go for it!

Couple of years ago I saw a Gold Wing towing a dirt bike on a small utility trailer. Whatever works!
