so we're searhcing for a thingie.....

That I already own one of. Tire inflator that uses standard CO2 cartridges to inflate tires, as opposed to the 45 gram things.
Anywhoooo, we're riding the LT, enjoying the excuse to ride and we stop by a few metroplex few bike shops on our quest for the grail.

Stumbled into the last stop, Triumph?Aprilla?Guzzi?Ducati place in Ft Worth.
Found out that triumph is building the new LT.
They call it the Trophy SE. A bit more power, 6 gear tranny, all the creature comforts, shaft drive, better seating and over 100 pounds more total gross capacity.
Anyone ever look at one of these as an alternative to the LT?
We are searching for a 3rd bike for the stable and I'm thinking this is it.

Re: so we're searhcing for a thingie.....

I Have Been Following This Bike Since Word Leaked Out Over A Year And A Half Ago That Triumph Was Building It. It Looks Awesome. I Want To Test Ride One But Since I Don't By First Year Machines I Figured I'd Wait Until I Was Ready For A New Machine. I Visited The Triumph Showroom And Inspected The Bike And Talked To The Owner Of The Shop About It And He Is A Straight Shooter And Said He Has Ridden The Bike Several Times And It Is Extremely Nice. This Guy Sold Me My Lt In 08 And Was Good To Deal With And Said As Usual The Trophy Has A Few Engineering Snafu's But Overall So Far It Is Preforming Very Well For The Guys Who Have Bought Them And Would Be In The Same League As The K1600 And The Like.
