Help me clear my head

I will not at this time mention the dealers name.

I waited 30 days for a 6k appointment. On my assigned date Thursday May 30th I bring the bike in, the service manager did not explain to me any of the task that would be performed on my 1200RT, simply stated it should be ready by Saturday. I stated I would be away but will be in on Tuesday (they are closed on Sun and Mon). Called today (Tuesday) to verify the bike was ready for pick up as I had not heard from them. I was told the bike would not be ready until Wednesday at the earliest. I told them unacceptable as I had plans to ride to Lake George on Wednesday and needed the bike today as promised. So am I wrong or right on demanding the bike be worked on?

Re: Help me clear my head

He said "should be by Saturday", you said "you have until Tuesday". So yes I think you are justified. But it may be time for a new dealer or self maintenance.

Re: Help me clear my head

I do my own maintenance on the bike but any time I have taken any of my cars to the dealer to be serviced, I always let them know when I need the car back. This sets the tone from the beginning.
