Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Re: The Evolution of Motorcycle Fashion

Fairly interesting and only thing I'd debate would be fluorescents becoming "the norm."

In the USA Harley may be "the norm" and I think I never see fluorescent Harley riders. Not even "reflective stripes."

Well, guess I'd also debate the use of the word "fashion," as it's supposed to be function over form when safety is concerned. Again, maybe not for HD. I mean, chaps may make you feel like a road cowboy or whatever that's all about, but I'll wear my pants with CE protectors thank you.

Re: The Evolution of Motorcycle Fashion

Neat post Meese.
I'm kinda surprised there weren't more discoveries during the wars. Maybe they just weren't mentioned. I also wonder how effective those early helmets were. Obviously, the skull caps were limited, but a cork-lined tin helmet doesn't sound much better.

Looks like Kent is starting up another debate between pirate and michelin costumes.
