I thought I heard the announcer say "Gentlemen, start your engines..." but with a bit of an accent.

Is that a sport.
Or were they doing a commercial shoot. In the mid-west there are ice skating rinks and snow boarding down some hill (when there is snow) but not taking a bike out to an ice track. What were they thinking
