RT to a GS?

I am considering that my next bike may be a 1200 GS. At present, I have a 2010 RT and love it, but I have always had a "jones" for a GS. Probably won't do it for another 3 years, but at that point the RT will have 75-85K miles and I think I'll be ready for a change. I might end up replacing with a newer RT, but for the sake of discussion, what do those of you who had had both bikes say about going from an RT to a GS?

Thanks,

Lawrence

Terry,

Tell me why and what were the deciding factors?

Re: RT to a GS?

If you fellas wouldn't mind sharing, I'd like to read the thoughts as well. I'm planning to keep my RT but I've been thinking about adding an adventure tour to the barn and have several in mind. Thanks in advance........

Teach

Basically after 13 months I could never get comfortable on the RT.
The GSA fits me like a glove.

That is the Reader's Digest version.
