Re: RT tire question

What's even more amazing is that pretty much any bike can come and run the course during the week or so before the actual race. I have a few friends that went over and kept lapping the IoM course until they had covered 1,000 miles in under 24 hours . . .

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Re: Great link!

I tell ya what - these guys have bigger berries than I ever had - even in my younger days - I would love to go & see the race in person but a person wouldn't get to see much in person!

Re: RT tire question

I couldn't even dream of riding half as well as those young men. My hats off to them all, it must be an amazing thing to see.
I don't think my brain could process information fast enough to ever try that! Those dudes have some giant stones!

Ride Safe,

Bob

Re: RT tire question

Don't know if anyone saw, but the Velocity Channel broadcast (delayed but several hours worth) coverage of the 2011 IOM TT. It was spectacular! They did a 1 hour slot each week for about 7 weeks. I am hoping they will do it again. I set it up to record and savored hour after hour of a really great and historic bike event at a breathtaking location!

Re: RT tire question

That would have been great to see. Unfortunately I've never heard of the velocity channel, so I'm thinking my cable co. might not offer it.
