K1800?

A friend of mine told me that on the last Long Beach Motorcycle show, this past weekend he saw a K1800 on display.
Is that true, or he had it mixed up with something?
Is it possible that BMW is getting ready to release a K1800 LT?

Re: K1800?

Whatever he's smoking I want some of it.

I would not be surprised to see another 4 cylinder LT in the not too distant future - expect it to have 2000cc, 200 horsepower and enough torque to tow Nebraska.

You heard it here first, folks.

Would that be whatever he's smoking or a new LT?

But since they say it's an 1800 it must be true!

Re: K1800?

I was there. It was the K1600GT and K1600GTL on display.

That doesn't rule out a K1800LT in the future, but I wouldn't hold your breath . . .

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

This thread exists for the sole purpose of making the Joneses (and their neighbors) poop their "drawz".

Me thinks it's some pixels bleeding together to form an "8" out of a "6". Blown up image attached.

Now, on to that rumor of a 2000cc, K2000LT coming in 2014....

Re: K1800?

Post did get our attention, and I still like the color. Plus with all the things reported on in Novembers owners Mag, it sure is a good guess there are going to be some upgrades of some kind, at the very least.

Re: K1800?

That's too funny... I was speaking to another LT owner here yesterday before seeing this thread, and he was telling me about a friend that had read a magazine article about a K1800LT.....
I think he's chasing his mate down to find out more....

Sounds like some not-too smart journalist might have seen that same "bleeding" pic....
