Saw a K1600GT today

I saw a K1600 today in Central London. The rider was wearing a pair of trainers, shorts and a t-shirt and a helmet. After spending nearly £20,000 I'm sure he could have got most of the riding kit thrown in.
I did take the time to ask him if he knew he didn't have an L-plate (Learner plate) on the back. It'll probably take him days to work out the insult.

It was probably the BMW technician doing a test ride, after replacing the final drive, the switchgear, the ECU, ...

Okay, double-ouch.

That's typical HD gear here in the States, especially on the hot days so we're pretty used to seeing that. Lot's of folks out there with more money than brains...

BTW what are "Trainers" ??

Re: Saw a K1600GT today

You know them as Sneakers Ted..... Might be fashionable on a hot day but your skin takes a long time to grow back when the road surface has taken it's $s worth.

I think this may prove a point ( Veiwer discretion Advised)

Unlike leather rubber soled shoes don't make noise when you walk. No click click of the heels. Hence you can sneak about unheard.

As for the video I think the family members standing around looking at the morons' wounds should apply a couple bottles of isopropyl alcohol to the effected areas. Just another tool to help him remember ATGATT!

I think a bottle of Tequila would be more beneficial Loren when they start cleaning the road dirt away from the wounds!!!... Steve.
