Possibly Taboo?

Greetings All,

(Yes, I know this isn't a Sport bike Forum...)

Lately I've been pondering adding a sport bike to keep my RT company. I've test ridden an S1000RR which was impressive, even factoring in my non-existent sport bike experience. Also, I've always had a "thing" for Ducati's though I've never actually ridden one. Any thoughts (Pro's/Con's, etc.) on Sport bikes?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Re: Possibly Taboo?

Technically it's not a "sport bike", but I have a Yamaha FZ1 - "street fighter" is what some call it's class. I love it.
I'm 62 with three disks bone on bone, so really didn't think I could do the hunched over riding position. The seat on this bike sux, but what stock seat doesn't.
I do really enjoy the light weight and heart pounding acceleration. Fun bike to ride. Getting that thing down on the pegs is a rush. Go for it.
