Maybe I missed something (yeah, the boat), but is the 8 a 125? Or was the original 4 the 125, and now this one's bumped up?
Really is an interesting concept. Fascinating how he did all that with so few moving parts.
Seems to me that Honda did a small displacement 8 cylinder years back, strickly for racing. Anyone remember that?

I believe the 4 was a 125 so the 8 is probably a 250 ?


Honda developed an oval piston bike. 8 con rods but only four cylinders


"Such a configuration led to almost unprecedented complexity in terms of engine design, with 32 valves and eight con-rods incorporated into the dimensions of a regular four cylinder motorcycle engine."
