Best MC movie of all time

Okay, there are not a lot to choose from, so this should be easy. I won't tell mine, yet.

Re: Best MC movie of all time

World's Fastest Indian was my favorite.

Long Way Round for documentary style.

Most influential motorcycle movie on my life was Easy Rider.

Get you motor running, head out on the highway . . .(Born to be Wild) still the best motorcycle song.

Then Came Bronson . . . still the best television show involving a motorcycle.

A young Marlon Brando on a Triumph . . . the very definition of cool

I had forgotten about "On any Sunday", that movie was fantastic. I bought my first LT from Malcolm Smith Motorsports in Riverside. At the time he was a BMW dealer, but not now. I lived in San Diego at the time. My wife and I were hoping to meet him, but he was never there when we were. My wife enjoyed On Any Sunday about as much as I did.

Re: Best MC movie of all time

Just got around to watching On Any Sunday. Really like the profiles of the three main characters, especially Malcolm Smith. That six day endurance race in Spain was unbelievable. I'd give it my vote for best motorcycle documentary type movie. Is there any form of motorcycling they didn't cover?

Wild Hogs get my vote for best comedy.

One Week best drama.

Chopper Chicks in Zombie Town is best D movie.

And Torque is the most unrealistic BS motorcycle movie ever made.

Amazing movie when it came out, and of course a cult-like classic. I re-watched it not too long ago, then wondered what it was that really turned me on. Dialogue isn't really too good, but timing is everything. At the time this movie came out, it was a perfect fit.

On Any Sunday here as well ... went to see it with siblings and parents back in the day when we were all spending as many weekends in the SoCal desert as possible. Had the honor of riding with Malcolm a few times :-)

A fairly easy trivia question: "who is the little kid doing the killer wheelie in the opening minutes?"

Re: Best MC movie of all time

Okay, not exactly a motorcycle movie, but I have to put my vote in for "Tomorrow Never Dies", I mean after all that's the bike I ride and the only movie I can think of that features a BMW (although my movie knowledge is a bit thin).

All I can say is Michelle Yeoh must have had a sore butt after filming on the medieval torture device BMW designed as a pillion on that bike, I hope she got hazard pay

Re: Best MC movie of all time

Maybe not the best all time but "Little Fauss and Big Halsy" was one I recall.
It had neked chicks in it!

On the James Bond theme, Never Say Never Again had a pseudo Yammy Turbo in it. I was quite chuffed because I owned one then

I did think Wild Hogs was a hoot and am just shocked no one mentioned CC Rider as a Classic

...gotta love the opening scene on the trailer with the church, the hymn, then the bikes approaching...
