Day 7 in Euorpe

Day 7 of the ED of my Brideís new Z4 3.0si. BMW folks in Berlin would not let near the K1600 and would not give any more information than has already been posted. I've seen a lot of bikes on the roads in the Alps. Most common were the GS which surprised me. I would of thought sport bikes would be dominate over here. I've been looking to see if they were test riding the new K1600 GT/L but no such luck yet. The whole experience at Welt was fantastic from the time we walked in the building till we drove away - definitely a class operation. After the night in Munich we drove to Prague for 2 nights, then Budapest for 2 nights, Vienna 1 night and we just completed our second day in Garmish. Up until we got here most of driving has been on the Autobahn and city driving. Yesterday and today we had the fantastic experience of driving in the Alps. We will be going to Zurich & Geneva, Switzerland and Dijon France before returning to Munich to drop off the car. All in all a great experience. Too bad this was not a ED of the new K1600 GT/L

Re: Day 7 in Euorpe

Don't tell Vickie but I won't do this trip again - way too expensive unless the US $ ever gets back some of it's value. In Zurich now $4.00 for an expresso is a little rich for my blood. I really looking forward to coming home and the ride to FT Bragg. Need to service the LT but won't have time so I will go to the Steallrship. See you soon..

You have a little over a month before Ft Bragg. Let's have a tech session at my place when you have a moment...
