I was told by a dealer owner,no more LT?

I was told last Saturday there would probably be no more LT s in the future and that the new 1600 gtl would replace the LT.I hope ir will be very similar in comfort and options otherwise I could care less about a bigger motor if it is not a very comfortable bike like the LT.Have any of you heard anything like this being likely?Makes me think I might need to buy a LT before they are gone but I would like to see this new GTL,he said it would likely be next spring before it comes out. Thanks,Beau

There's an entire forum dedicated to the discussion.

http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=146

And Yes, the LT as we know it is going away, at least for a while. Don't freak out, though. New is not necessarily bad.

Re: I was told by a dealer owner,no more LT?

Think I'll start HOARDING used LT's since their price is bound to skyrocket.

Did I just say that out LOUD ????

Please do not tell my wife as she is already negotiating with those Hoarding Show producers because she can barely squeeze her Yukon SUV into the garage between the "Collection" of moto's. Been trying to convince her to "downsize" but she"s not going for it.
What can I try next to make room for the GTL????????

Hmmm, you're a general contractor with some acreage, right? Two Words - "Bike Temple". 3 - 5000 square feet should be adequate.
