Radiator header tank

Hi Chaps
I am having huge problems trying to locate a manual for my K1200 LT. To this end i am having to guess and work out what goes where. Can anyone please confirm that the tank under the seat is the radiator header tank and if so where should the fluid level be in it. What is the best mixture to put in it i.e anti freeze/water.

Re: Radiator header tank

yup... there are 2 caps.. one on the brake side is for rear brake..

one on clutch/shifter side is the radiator "overflow" tank. If you open the left saddlebag/pannier you can see a slot where you can view the level.

use 50/50 premix.
