National Ride to Work Day

OK who rode to work today? Yeah it was a bit hot on the way home.
But I forgot to add that my new Ron Miller Kontour Magnum seat on the GS made it much more tolerable as the cool!?! air flowed under my buns!

Re: National Ride to Work Day

I did, as usual.

Rain and thunderstorms rolling in tonight, and rain is forecast through tomorrow, but I'll still be riding.

Re: National Ride to Work Day

No chance of ice until November so I did. That's what I like about living in NC I only have to check the weather reports about 3 1/2 months out of the year.

Re: National Ride to Work Day

Rode to work at 0600.
Heat category V warnings on Fort Bragg, this afternoon.
Left work at 1830.
Glad I had my Veskimo personal cooling system.
Makes it easy to turn a 12 mile commute into a 75 mile ride.
Life is good.

Yep. We did! Kind of a dreary day for the first day of summer, but at least it wasn't raining. For a change!

Re: National Ride to Work Day

No, not today I had to haul a bunch of materials in 6 large boxes...I guess I could have tried tying them down...but then an embarrassing picture of me would in up in the humor section.

But I will be riding tomorrow and the next day and the next day...

Smile Re: National Ride to Work Day

Rode to work at 2 pm, 93 degrees. Get off work at 6.30 am, only to do it all again on Tuesday.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying " I'll try again tomorrow".
