TV show "Canyon Carvers"

For those of you who have the "HD Theater"channel on your satellite or Cable, there is a series on now, "Secret Club of Speed". There is one show on motorcycles "Canyon Carvers" which I just watched. Much of it was in my old riding area, Southern California. Some of the show was on the Palomar Mountain roads which I rode a LOT, with Dudleys Bakery near Julian, and Mothers Kitchen on the road up Palomar Mountain, both of which I visited many times. Sure brought back a lot of pleasant memories!

That east grade of Palomar is one twisty road, with the south grade more sweeping turns. The east grade has a lot of accidents though. Some go up the south grade, think they are good, then try the east grade and get in trouble, especially going downhill.

I don't want to achieve immortality through my work...I want to achieve it through not dying.
