For those interested in the Concours14

A friend passed this along to me:

"Kawasaki released info on the 2010 models this morning on some of their sites including changes to the 2010 Concours. It has traction control, heated grips, and some new modes for the engine to increase fuel mileage, and a new braking system as well as improvements to reduce heat on the rider and some other changes."

Kawasaki also improved the windshield. The biggest feature they left off the bike IMHO is the cruise control. It is absolutely my favorite feature on Ruby.

Maybe in a few years they will get it right. No cruise and no heated seat? They also added tank bag mounting points aka R1200RT. I rode a 09 C14 for about 35 miles this summer and the engine heat was terrible. Also, if the bike is left sitting in the sun the display becomes unreadable.

Very minor nits indeed. An Audiovox CC100 electronic cruise control is a simple install on that bike just like on the FJR and how many people actually keep a factory seat anyway?

I looked at one this summer. 1st thing I noticed was the windshield. Sure didn't look like much wind protection after riding the fat girl. And I agree about the cruise, won't own a bike without one.....
