Smile This time I joined my son on track

Last spring I posted some pics of my son riding a mini-cross bike during his first off-road lesson.

Now he's progressed and today he had his third lesson, but this time I joined the event, not just as a parent but as an active rider

Here's some pics:

Ooops! No, that's not me

Here I am:

I confused the pics as they're so similar, ain't they?

After 27 years on road bikes, riding on a Cross track is definitely a different experience. I had so much fun, although now there's no single bone and muscle in my body which is not suffering for my crazy idea

Here following a few more pics of my son and of the whole riding school:

Oh, by the way: I'm the one with shining white hair!

Re: This time I joined my son on track

I bought my son his first dirt bike when he was seven. The following year I got one for myself. We spent many weekends together. He's now 22 and out on his own,but last weekend we were out playing in the dirt again. As an added bonus we ride street bikes together now. One of my favorite memories is looking in my rear view mirror last summer and seeing him doing wheelies in the Badlands.Cherish your time together, they grow up to fast.
