Yamaha Royal Star

Anyone owned or have any experience with the Yamaha Royal Star Venture or the Tour Deluxe models?

Re: Yamaha Royal Star

I bought a Midnight Venture new in 05. I put 38,000 miles on it in 18 months. It never missed a lick. I did an Ironbutt on it with my wife behind me. We did 1064 miles in 16 hours. I was the only one riding 2up. Yamaha makes a good bike. The Venture comes with a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty. An ex motorcop bought my bike and is still riding it. He loves it and he pulls a trailer with it. There's a group like this for Yamaha, too. You can get a lot of info there...........www.venturers.org...........check it out......

Re: Yamaha Royal Star

A buddy had one - had good experience with it. I considered one when shopping for a bike that ultimately ended up being the LT. A "Cruisery" tourer. ONe of the mags had it in a comparo in the last few months. It did okay - nothing special. Like the LT, it is a bit dated.
