The road maintenance people in this rural part of Calif. have decided to "fix" several roads near me with the 19th century tech chipseal. What could be more fun than running an LT on several inches of gravel with a little oil tossed in. Actually on a heavily traveled road it packs down in a few days but the smaller roads like the one at the end of my driveway only get a few cars a day.

Re: Chipseal

I had a fair bit of experience with that stuff in Central Australia. Awful stuff really. problem is it is cheap to lay. Cheap council, cheap chipseal. I thought Arnie rode bikes??
