Re: Video from Bike ride

Great video,
It reminds me me that there are still roads out there that I have not ridden yet and now I find myself wanting to take another cross country road trip with a detour to Texas!

Re: Video from Bike ride

I like it ... be so kind and tel me ...

1. Show me how you rig your camera and what make and model it is.
2. What Video Editor did you use.

I also do things like this and when I edit I split the riding sessions by clips of stills in between.

A bad day on the bike beats a good day in the office.

Re: Video from Bike ride

I would have thought a head cam would have been a bit more steady than that. I like it though.
I don't edit as much as I just speed things up

Re: Video from Bike ride

I noticed that you were running in a pretty high gear through the turns. You will find she sits up higher in the suspention if you re-run those roads in second gear up around 6-7,000 rpm. You will find the LT loves the higher rpms and handles much better as well. First gear is good to about 65 mph before you hit the rev limiter.

Great video makes me want to go out and ride today!!!! Thanks

Re: Video from Bike ride

That was a nice video. I made a short one riding around the lake here. I put my camera inside my helmet. It was my first attempt at a video. I made a lot of the ride you made on Sunday. I rode down the east side of Possum Kingdom to Palo Pinto and hit FR 4 down to Lipan and went north on FR1189 between Lipan and Granbury. There's some nice riding down in that area. I saw a lot of bikes out that day. I ran into several groups out riding. I hope you will post some more videos in the future................

Re: Video from Bike ride

Great video! I wish I was at home and could get mine back out. I just finished a ride from Iowa City to Lafayette, IN and back. All child support stopped...I had never tried to dance on the ole' girl before, but I did that day...all the way home. But I digress...Was that a Motoport Kevlar jacket you are wearing? Pants also? I am thinking of getting a set and am still looking for that final review to make the order Keep up the good video work and make more!!!

Great Video! Reminded me of my short ride yesterday. I am glad I bought my bike! I can't wait till I hit the highway on an adventure.

Re: Video from Bike ride

Not as good as the first one but here is Saturday's ride
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IB9523I9q4Y

I place the camera in the helmet, it's velcroed to the full face helmet chin bar. I only place it on where there seems to be something of interest otherwise it get hot in there.

I use MS movie maker on the computer. Unfortunately my music seems to get flagged now on you tube due to copyright, although I own the music.

The jacket is a Joe Rocket Mesh jacket, works well for our TX heat.

Re: Video from Bike ride

thanks for the shots
I did some roads near La Grange, and was dragging the pegs so bad it kept knocking my feet off em! never had that rush quite like that before,, THe other bikes just lifted my foot up.. where as the LT kinda pecks at my feet with sweet TIng TIng sounds as the aluminum scapes off....\

I Gotta mount that camera at the Jpegs for some fun.. ya got me going now!

Nah... shocks are fine. He just needs to lean his body with the corner so the bike doesn't have to tip as much. A Reg Pridmore class would cure that pretty quickly. www.classrides.com

Great video by the way. I really enjoyed it.
