TX rider's, sound off on possible dealership, El Paso!

I'm working in El Paso, TX (I'm on my K12S), this guy drives up in his rental in the park lot while I'm getting on the bike, we talked for a good 30-40 min's.

He was on his way to meet with BMW corporate to discuss a BMW dealership in El Paso!!!

Anyways, I told him to search these forum's for info so I'm going to attempt to give him a good start by asking all you Texan's to sound off.

He stated the enduro market might be good around there, they'd like to do that.

With El Paso growing to nearly a million people in 2012, target 2025 for a full million, there is potential. Lots of soldiers around, I told him to consider lower priced bike lines for young folks/soldiers to get them into the door.

I figured I'd give him an easy target by starting this thread, once he gets in and starts reading.

regards...g

I don't get out there much, but I would think the GS line 650, 800, 1200 would sell well. It would be nice if I needed anything for the LT as I pass through. Barnett does a good business in the Harley/cruiser arena.

The positive: a BMW dealer's market would include Las Cruces and Deming as well as El Paso.

The negative: to the best of my knowledge, there are only 4 K12LT owners in El Paso; I've seen few K75/K100/K1100's in town; and I haven't encoutered anyone else from El Paso on the BMW MOA forum.
