New Bmw S1000r

I had a first hand look at the new 1000R this weekend. Gary the factory BMW rider was just up from Laguna Seca Raceway and had his bike on display. Wow is all I can say. The bike is comfortable and has insane horse power. It has 193 HP and four different traction control settings. I asked if the price would be as same as the HP2 and the factory rep said nope. The price is going to be right around 13,800.00. My jaw about dropped. I am thinking of putting my name on the list for delivery next spring.

Is that for the bike or for the insurance?

Re: New Bmw S1000r

The insurance for me at age 55 is only 32.00 dollars a month. The precision and fit on this bike is remarkable. Compared to the Jap bikes I think this would be very unique.

Not to mention that it would handle with the best Duc's and R-1's.
