Spyder

I just bought my wife a spyder to go with my LT & had to ride it home (200 miles through the mountains) - I just may give her the LT!!!

Happy to answer any questions anyone has about the Spyder - like any new bike, it needs some farkles, but the rapid change to gravel around a corner no longer has the pucker factor!

Re: Spyder

Welcome to the growing group of integrated garages! W got her Spyder a year and a half ago. It is now well farkelized (LaughingHeart on spyderlovers.com), and I got to do a lot of the farkelizing! Best for us includes the 2-way ICOM radios (integrated into her Autocom) Great ryde. Impressed with the engineering. Latest was the MCCruise from OZ - not cheap, but much better than the Audiovox we started with.

Add me to the list for Spyder questions!

Re: Spyder

I was riding with a group of bikes a week ago, and after some eats while getting ready to continue the ride. A young guy rode up on an all black spyder and said it was his weekend to demo it. He showed us around it and said he had at the track Saturday and it ran the 1/8 at 89mph at about 8 seconds and will flat burn that big rear tire off. We invited him on the ride and a few of us rode it. It does have nice power and impressive handling. And it looks are an eye catcher. He said you have to be carefull at night as with all 4 light on some people
stop their cars because they don't know whats behind then.

Re: Spyder

Where did you get the cruise control and was it hard to install?
