Went to the other side too

Just bought a 1994 R1100RS on ebay. Took a chance since it has a salvage title but everything seems to be on the up and up. It had no frame or engine damage has low miles and looks great. I can't wait to pick it up next weekend.

I'll post this on the R forum too, but if someone knows were you can still get bar risers I will need some. Suburban used to make them but they are no longer listed on the site.

Re: Went to the other side too

Yeah for Wolfgang. Is it east to get around the salvage title part?

Re: Went to the other side too

All it means is that some buyers might be scared. In this case I checked the history. It was totaled because the repairs at the dealer would have been more than70% of the book value. It had no frame or engine damage. I don't plan on reselling it any time soon, and if I did, I got it cheap enough to get my money back.

It's just a toy to keep me smiling...
