How long have you played the same CD

When my bike started running like crap in Vermont a couple of weeks ago I decided to ship everything back I didn't need. I my hurry to cram everything in my top bag I also packed my CDs. I mean really how much can a dozen CDs weigh?. After riding a couple of hours and listening to the engine I turned on the tunes and thats when it hit me I have only one CD.

My radio doesn't get stations by scanning very well. Heck it only picked up two stations in New York City. Any way I listened to Alan Jackson for about 20hrs. BTW I still like the CD.

Re: How long have you played the same CD

Rarely played any music on the LT for the last couple years I owned it. No tunes on the FJR, no tunes on the Tiger....or any other bike I've owned for that matter. Don't need it, don't miss it. What goes on in my head after a couple hours of riding is much more entertaining...

Re: How long have you played the same CD

I got my bike in December 2005 and put in some CD's. Three are still there. I very rarely listen to them except in the Big Bend area where there is NOTHING, not even AM.

Re: How long have you played the same CD

Well, it ain't no LT, but once I had a fishing boat and I had a cassette tape of Blue Grass in it and never removed it for about 4 years!!!!! After every winter, my son and I would go out fishing and I'd say, "Well, I wonder if it'll still play..." And, no kidding, it did...every time! I think I left the tape in it when I sold the boat! it just seemed right.

BTW...I named my boat "VISITATION"....cause that way, when church members called the house looking for me, my wife could say "He's out on visitation...been gone all day."

(I really did...)

XM would be nice but for now I'll stick to the free airwaves. Plus my wife has liquidated several music stores and our house is so full of records & Cds I can hardly walk thru it. I'm on the free Cd exchange policy.

My old Pastor's boat was named The Word. He would tell us he spent all day Saturday in The Word preparing for Sunday's message.
