Thumbs up The deal has been made...

I'm off, to pull the ad from eBay. A buyer ("David") from Indiana heard about my bike through the grapevine and has made me an offer that I cannot turn down. He's arranging to wire me the cash ... meanwhile, I'll be wrapping up the loose ends on my side. He'll be flying into Cleveland late next week to ride it home.

I wonder how long it'll be before my next bike is in the garage?

Glad to hear it. I personally hate selling things, and am just happy when it's done. Now you have room for the next toy.

Although I see your emoticons, there is a certain amount of reality in that question. It all depends what the new & improved LT looks like, and what improvements are made to the old girl. But I won't be buying an LT in it's current state any time soon.

Thumbs up Re: The deal has been made...

Did somebody write something funny here? Good luck with your new bike and let us know how it works out for you. Its certainly an interesting departure from BemmerWorld. I hope you tell the new owner of your old bike to bring his own license plates. I believe that several states just might be on the lookout for your bike. Id hate to have his first experience on a BMW be a police chase with obligatory strip search, rubber hose beating and anal probe. On the upside it might get him ready for this forum.

go buy the connie and be done with it, you ride far to hard for a Harley, the duc will be a real expense in maintance and IMHO far to uncomfirtable for long ride, the yamaha is well a yamaha, but if the fjr, it does hae a larger tank than the connie, but falls short on passger room compared to the connie, (I think anyhow)

and I want to know what the connie is really like from some one who ride similar.

so just go get it, today........ heck, i'll even make aya a deal., you buy it ride it down here and I'll buy ya lunch somewhere up by stumpy

In all fairness, I guess I haven't fully tested them out yet. But then again, I've participated in very few threads here regarding religion or politics. I'd much rather razz someone about much more important things that those!

I think I'll go over to the Connie site and start a new thread...
