Wow rotor milling groves are a trip

New rider comments here.

Rotor milling groves are a trip. Experienced them for the first time today at freeway speeds in rush hour traffic. All was good, it was just a little strange to have my front wheel having a slight mind of its own. Nice to have the R1200RT size and overall handling to deal with it.

Just thought I would share.

You get used to the grooves. They chew up your tires faster, but help with traction in the rain.

Avoid tires with tread patterns that look like parallel lines - they tend to catch the grooves a lot more. Tires with grooves that go across the tire don't catch the grooves as much.
