Exclamation MotoGP at Indy - Tivo/DVR User Alert!

The Indy GP will be on CBS and not Speed. If you have a season pass set up for MotoGP on Speed you will not get the race on Sunday!

KCRA channel 3, or 903 comcast HD. It does show as AMA Red Bull Supermoto in Indy, but I'm hoping that's it.

Thanks for the heads up Dave. I had the DVR set for racing on Speed and CBS but not NBC. I wish they would stop screwing around with this shit and keep in all on Speed. Let NBC and CBS play NASCAR all day

And my apologies about screwing up the broadcaster. As you figured out it's NBC. Actually, I wish motorcycle racing would get popular enough where NBC, CBS or ABC regularly ran a racing series like MotoGP or World Superbike. That would be facntastic for the sport! I wouldn't want FOX to run it, though, they'd turn it into some cheesy reality show with some goofy Brit pissing everyone off.

Actually that is good news for plebean old farts like myself since I watch so little TV I have no "speed" channel and only get network. So I will indeed get to watch. I was all set to ride up there. Looking at the weather reports for Indiana this weekend , I'm not so sure the work that came in for me that killed my trip was a bad thing. I'll be dry watching on Sunday after church and loving the fact I made a few bucks this week instead of blowing a few.

I know it ain't the same. and I do regret missing a milestone in motorsports but I've got two great buddies headed that way and they will give me all the scoop when they return and I can pay the bills due now with the work I got in. Life is good indeed.

No matter where you go , there you are.

Re: MotoGP at Indy - Tivo/DVR User Alert!

It's pouring like mad right now at the track (my office is a block south) and sounds wet for the weekend with the worst on sunday.

May look more like jetski races, but oughta be good nonetheless!

That's too bad. The "real" USGP races had amazing weather this year.

The Indy venue is proving to be a great spectator venue. I think the riders should like it as well due to the great run off areas without the kitty litter. Plus we get rain here, yea.

Geez Mike, they're not sold out. I think $75 a pop for general admission. Come on out Sunday.

Hey John-
I thought abut general admission- but My son is really handicapped and I kinda want to be able to know where to go and more importantly how far he's gotta walk....His most problematic issue is exercise intolerance- I want him to really enjoy this......he loves watching it w/me and riding w/me & I think he'd love it live!!

Mike

BTW-I can't seem to find reserved..sold out???

In the GA Infield section there is a handicap viewing platform along the Indy south short chute between turn 1 and 2. Also GA bleachers there as well. I'm sure there is handicapped parking somewhere nearby - probably in the infield. Otherwise parking is all over but could be dicey. I can check with officials for handicapped parking if that works for you, tomorrow. PM sent.
