Re: No F-in Way!!!

It would be an interesting merger! Which bike would influence the other? HD needs some new ideas. Willie knows that the old favorite will have to change because of all the new laws comming up, emission is the largest. The new HD are so quiet I dont mind following one.

Interesting...! MV Agusta's main business is building helicopters.
Maybe we'll see Harleys with propeller blades!!!

Re: No F-in Way!!!

This news has been pretty fiery over at the MV owners site. But we have been living with announcements of negotiations with BMW, VW/Audi, Ducati, TATA, Ferrari, etc for a few years. Hell, maybe Claudio and the gang could get Milwaukee to teach my Road King how to stop!

Doesn't HD sell brand specific Harley Davidson boots with special soles for dragging along the ground?

Buddy of mine rides a Springer Softail. I let him take the LT out for a short ride. He came back and his first comment was something like "Damn, this thing stops quick!" I forgot to tell him about the power assisted ABS, I guess, and he grabbed a whole handful of brake lever as he approached the first stop sign. He stopped about 40 feet before he got to it.
