I am ready for my close up Mr. Demille

Does anyone know of a good mount for a video or still camera? Just thought it would be interesting to document some of my commuting rides over the summer.

I don't believe some of these drivers out there, I guess if I see it over and over again it will come to see it a real.

Thanks,

LL

I've used a RAM mount for a still camera on the handle bars. RAM makes a camera base and there a couple of ways to mount a RAM ball on the bike.

I'm not sure I'll be able to attach a photo file here or not, but this is what I'm working on right now. I bent a piece of EMT (wiring conduit) to match the arch of the dash, then welded a bracket to that. It attaches to the three existing screws in the dash (I don't used GPS, RD, etc, so have that available). To this bracket I attached a piece off of an old tripod that I salvaged. That piece is the weakest part, and a little sloppy, so I've glued it solid to take the movement out of it. I'll let you know if it works. And if it does, I'll get it all painted up, or even powder coated to match the dash.
