Roy's New Ride

Thought I would drop a general note here to let every-one know that my '02 LT has a new home. Tim from Airdrie Alberta bought her recently. I had the pleasure of meeting him and his wife a couple of weeks ago --- great people who will fit well in the family.
I have replaced "Backdraft" with a 2008 Ultra Screaming Eagle (flame suit on ). This board has been and is a wonderful place for information, assistance and comradarie and I will be sticking around to continue enjoying it. Who knows, the next generation LT may draw me back to the fold.
I built a new trailer for the new bike (like that would suprise any-one who knows me) out of a 1950's Cold Spot refrigerator. Works well.
I have included photo's so that you know who the guy on the HD, that's waving as you blow past him, is.

Good on ya, Roy. Thanks for sharing the pics - and glad you're stickin' around here. I've always enjoyed your contributions and hope you continue to throw some sage advice our way now and then. Ride safe on the new rig - looks great.

Great bike! My ridding partner who is was the Chief of my department just sold his RT and is going to buy an Ultra or the RoadGlide next week. Your bike looks like it has the RG front fender or did you just take off the chrome bars?
You should put an old Blake 4-way valve on the back of your trailer!

Thanks guys.

And it'll have enough low end torque that you'll have no trouble getting a side of beef home in that fridge!

"Side of beef"? A trailer/fridge combo like that could haul several cases of beer! You'll be the most-anticipated arrival at every event.

Nice work on the trailer, and congratulations on the new bike.

Great job, Roy. Love it! Wouldn't mind seeing the build pic's on that baby.

Sorry Jay but I didn't take any "before and after" shots.
Maybe next time
