Other bikes can brake

Hi it has been a while , I have be over hauling my ZX11C 1993 . When starting a part broke a went into the clutch , broke clutch basket all to hell . Have motor all apart now looking for parts . Hope to get the BMW out and take a long ride soon . All have a good night . Dan

So...What did you forget to do that caused the breakage? Sorry about the bike, at least you have another more comfy bike to ride.

I have never owned a Kawi sportbike, though I have rode on many different models.
I have had to many friends, who have had engine issues. The worst was a close friend who spun two bearing on his ZX12R.
Then his warranty was two weeks out and the dealer refused to help.

As for other bikes braking...
Look at the Honda Recall on the new VFR800 VTEC.
Honda is replacing the entire wiring harness.
Could you imagine replacing a wiring harness? That is a job.

Starter clutch let go and reingaged a part on starter chain broke and went into clutch basket . medal parts all in motor . Now i am cleaning out , all lines , cooler cases .To repair starter clutch you have to take case apart and if I am in there I will rebuild motor . Thanks Dan

actually, that is incorrect. It is only a small portion of the wiring harness behind the headlight assembly. My son just had his done 2 weeks ago, not a big deal, or a big job at all.
