Rick Mayer ?

Hello All, Placed my order for a Rick Mayer saddle in Jan. my production date was April 1, allow 7-10 business days. I e-mailed Rick last week as of today no response. cc charge went through about 7 weeks ago. No one answers the phone. I dont want to bother the man but I would like to be kept up to date. Is this the norm for them??
Thank's for response.

Re: Rick Mayer ?

Bother them until you get a response... business ettiquette is not their strength.

Re: Rick Mayer ?

Rick is good but his responsiveness is sometimes slow, and seems to be worst via email. Give him a call and you'll likely get a better response. I just left a message to get a seat done for my GT.

Thumbs up Re: Rick Mayer ?

Sometimes Rick does not have stock seats on hand to start building yours. I had the same issue and waited a few more weeks, but well worth the wait. You should have seen my face when I got my seats (beautiful leather), and then again when I first sat on them (comfy).

Re: Rick Mayer ?

I almost did NOT buy a seat from Rick, because I sent emails, and got no response. I later spoke to him, and found out he is not "GWC" (Good With Computers), and hates even touching them.

Email is not the way to communicate with him! I am glad I got the seat though...

Re: Rick Mayer ?

I sent him an email once asking him what kind of trailer he was pulling ( uni-go) behind his R1150RT in the photo gallery and he responded in two or three days.
