Wish the angle was a little better. Still cool though...

Re: RTPs in parade photo.

True, I had to get off and make sure I did not hold up the parade, as I got the picture.

Oh, I didn't realize that it was YOU behind the camara. Better that angle, than no pic at all.

Re: RTPs in parade photo.

I saw my first-ever RT-P on the job last week. On the way back from Gulf Shores, AL I saw an officer on a new RT-P by the side of the road in Montgomery, AL. It was very cool to see one in action.

Yes, the county has 7 and the city has 7. The University had only had 2 in the pararde, out of their 5, so in this parade we were out numbered by 2. The other University has 2, which are GS650, but they were not there. True and funny story. Last year when the county go there new 106 engine, one of there motors would brag about he could do 100 mph with only about 1/3 of throttle and smoke a BMW. We did a 35 mile escort, which some was on a closed interstate. The county guy does not brag about 1/3 throttle anymore......................

Re: RTPs in parade photo.

I got a warning ticket (on my GT) in Montgomery a week ago by an officer on an rtp for 55 in a 45. He was a great guy. We talked for about 30 minutes after he wrote me. I was on the way down to the Gulf for the weekend. I was just glad I had backed off the 110 I was doing before I got to the 65/85 split. Couldn't even hear the radar detector, just looked down and happened to see it was on fulll K band.
