Exclamation ATTENTION!!! MC Race Fans and Tivo/DVR Users!!!

Speed Channel has changed how they are listing MotoGP and World Superbike races. Previously if you had a Season Pass for "Motorcycle Racing" it picked all of the GP, WSBK, and AMA races up. I just noticed that they have now changed the listing to this -
  • MotoGP races are listed as "MotoGP Racing"
  • World Superbike races are listed as "FIM Racing"
No AMA road races listed yet but based on the new Supercross listings this will be similaly moving to "AMA Racing".

There is a GP race being televised at noon PDT, so if you're counting on your Tivo or other DVR to record it you better check it out!

Yeah, I love how they wait until after the season starts to change their program guide info. What a bunch of friggin morons. They did the same thing a couple of years ago with the Daytona races and I missed them. I was pissed.

Now I have to avoid all M/C racing talk and content until Tuesday so I enjoy watching it

So, how can you get these? I haven't seen them on the regular Comcast so far. Is it a special buy?

Well there's your problem.

They are all broadcast on Speed Channel as part of their normal line-up. I have DirecTV and it comes with the Total Choice channel lineup I pay for. Speed may be grouped in one of Comcast's up-sell packages (or not offered at all). It was them (well, TCI at the time) taking channels I watched for my base price and either dropping them or moving them around into premium packages to screw more money out of me that made me leave the cable companies and go satellite. I've been a happy camper ever since.

Re: ATTENTION!!! MC Race Fans and Tivo/DVR Users!!!

Check and see if Comcast offers it in an extended or premium package. It may be worth it to get all the MC races, as well as F1.
