Cat bike for sale, procedes to charity

If anyone is feeling particularily magnanimous or has a little extra cash to spare for a one of a kind scooter the OC Choppers Cat Bike is up for sale. You get to meet Richard Petty too if you win. Bidding has started at $100 large on - you guessed it - Ebay. Hey, it's a write off since procedes go to charity.

At first I thought it was the ugliest thing I've ever seen, but I've grown to like it. Would look very cool in your garage parked next to a 797B.

It would look even better under the wheels of the 797B. I wouldn't give you a plug nickle for an OCC bike.

....And speaking of wheels: Will we EVER see one of their bikes that is MORE GO and LESS SHOW?!

Kind of like the extremely macho version of the home decoration channel....but almost as gay.

Re: Cat bike for sale, procedes to charity

While Ron Miller was hiking in the CO mountains last summer, My son Barry and I stopped in Glenwood Springs, CO for gas before we proceeded to Aspen and over Independence Pass. While we talked with a state policeman who had also stopped for gas, the semi trailer truck with 2 CAT bikes pulled in. The driver of the CAT truck was traveling from location to location with his family.

He informed us that each bike was commissioned by CAT and build by someone who is known for in excess of $2mm per bike. Wish I could find my pics but I become technologically challenged. The truck was based in NC and had a schedule of one more year. I guess the year is up.

But the bikes were amazing!!!!

Even with a diesel engine it's still not street legal... Lot of money for a trophy!
